I was taking a look at some BT files, where the source is identified as PAL. Before I waste some bw, is there a simple way to convert the bup/vob/ifo files to NTSC format to play on a stand alone DVD player? AutoGK perhaps?
If it doesn't play then more than likely it will be your tv that can't cope with the color system and not your dvd player, but I don't see why it shouldn't play if you don't have ancient equipment - I would first dl and see if it plays. There are apps that convert PAL to NTSC but I've never used them because I would never want to do it, it will simply decrease the quality of the video, and not just a little. So if you're going to ruin the quality by converting, might as welll not even bother with dvd format and search for a good quality avi.
Ive also come across this before, its usually an old Tv, if it doenst like the format, it often displays it in a poor quality b&w, i upgraded to a decent tv
