xvid codec problem?

Postby Sybernaut on Mon Jan 13, 2003 12:24 pm

I have downloaded Die another day using the MxCentral hash code a couple of times and The Country Bears. They're both xvid's. When I play them they keep the past scene with the new overlapping on top. Do you know if this is a codec problem or just the encoding?

Thnx!

i assume you have downloaded the xvid codec, but without watching the movies you have (mine work good and are divx format), it isnt easy to explain whats wrong with them. the only thing i can add is that perhaps you media player isnt working that well. i have noticed that wmp8 doesnt play xvid that well. i like and use a free media player "zoomplayer". it may be worth checking out as it often plays through errors that others wont, including that darned coirrupted index that other player wont even open. anyway - find it at http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml
work sucks :pee off
