might want to uninstall one of the players and see if that doesn't fix the problem (had same issue with mp3 pro player last fall) or maybe it's codecs but i would go with first theory and get rid of the newest player you installed and see if it doesn't self correct

as to new version of winmx no need really to have the new version unless you are hosting a room - new version took care of a buffer overflow problem that caused major headaches in the channels last fall ...
