Since the WinMX network relies on primaries to sustain secondary connections, search requests, whois requests, browsing of users shared file lists, and instant messaging, you can see why it is so important that we encourage users to connect as primary if they are able to.

As of this morning one of the peer cache servers running was connecting 33 secondaries for every one primary. The goal is to reduce this to at least a 12:1 ratio.
