The Winmx community needs YOUR help!

We need to spread the word, Winmx is back, united and hungry to return our community to its rightfull place. To do this, we need to publicize Winmx all over the world, and for that we need your help. I'm sure we have many many Winmx users that are regular posters on other forums, perhaps not Winmx or even p2p related, well we need to reach as many people as possible, so we need your help! If you feel you can post the message below on a forum you are already an established member of, then please do, you will be helping the Winmx community expand! Please do not just join random forums and post these messages, they are likely to get deleted as spam, and we have no desire to spam random forums. We are only looking for established forum and blog members to help us raise the profile of Winmx across the world!

This week marks the third anniversary of the shut down, and Winmx users intend to celebrate with a brand new connection patch for Winmx that will see RIAA sponsored flooders kicked off the network, and the network growing in numbers by the day!

This new patch offers an array of great features and unlike some previous patches, is simple and quick to install on all operating systems. At the last estimate Winmx had climbed back to over 200,000 users and with this step forward in patch design its likely we will see the two main goals acheived, namely the return of the network to its former size (several million) and the removal of the fake files flooded onto so many p2p network by Riaa agent companies.

After years of fighting and arguing amongst the various groups and factions that have sprouted over the years this is what some of us including myself have been waiting for. No more arguments no more bickering over which connection solutions the better. The new patch works very well and has been created by a neautral coder and offerd to all parties involved which have fully endorsed the patch because of it's superior functionality. This in itself speaks volumes to myself and I look forwards to my beloved WinMx regaining some of it's lost userbase.

btw, the breakaway pie info team are still clinging to their 3.6 hosts only patch, seriously folks, if you are still using that patch, throw away your cars and computers and dig out the horse/cart and Quills.

None of the old patches worked on my new PC despite all the help you guys gave me, so perhaps I will finely after a year and a half be able to get back on peer again!
I so miss it!

After that comment I decided just to ask my question here.

Where do I get the patch, because the last place I tried only had a download for a whole new WinMX version (not a patch).
I have 30 different shared folders all over my PC and cannot possibly find that lot again!

If the new patch works out ill be glad to back into the WinMX community again!

The new patch installer takes care of removing any old patches etc you are running, but providing you are ok to handle that yourself you can DL the patch only from the link below, just drop it into your winmx folder and restart
