my winmix never connects

please help!!!! i've done everything........i've installed winmx v3.53 i also installed the pie patch (pie auto updater) ........... i went to the site for port forwarding and added the ports in my firewall to match those on my winmx settings.............. and it still hasnt worked!!!!!!! the finding network connections tab just keeps blinking yellow and never actually connects so i can start using winMX.
it is starting to frustrate me!!!!!! (my computer's OS is windows XP 2000 and my router is parydyne. ) so can someone please tell me wat i should do next????!!!!!!!!

np Malibuu1, what is the sentence u see on the left of yr Ignored button at the top of yr winmx (the Ignored button is the one with the red circle on it?)

After a successful installation of the Pie auto patch you will be able to open Winmx and see the following message in the top left of the screen: Click for Web Help Live Help at Vladd44 Help Room_234D0E74411C If you do not see this message please paste the room name Vladd44 Help Room_234D0E74411C into the filter bar at the top of the channel list and hit Join to enter, as you may need further assistance.
