Windows Media Recorder 10.1 or other comprable software?

Postby Guest on Thu Dec 15, 2005 12:50 pm

Hello,

I would like to record (download) streaming audio and I was wondering if there are any programs you guys recommend that will do the same thing as WMR 10.1 I will admit, I don't want to pay the $30.oo for it, I'd rather find a free source of it or freeware.

thanks.

Hey thankx, I have fooled around with Hi-Q and realized that it is not a recorder I am looking for. I can do that with my MP3 player. I need a stream downloader like SDP reciever. I have installed it (v2.0) and am having problems with it. It keeps saying : TTCP socket connect failed 10061....any ideas of how to get it to work.? I am sure SDP works with HTTP protocol and the file I am playing through WMP 10 says that the URL starts with HTTP

thanks]
