i've dl'd movies from winmx, the complete files, but when i go to play them on windows media player, it comes up as incomplete and instead of showing the whole duration on the clock, it gives you some arbitrary time, so you cannot speed through the parts of the movie that you don't want to see or can't get to the parts that you want to see, any suggestions?

use divfix to reindex file

look in video help section of main website for divfix.

Compare the 2 replies given.

Dumbdevil - absolutly incorrect and WAY off base.

Vladd - Correct way to reindex the file and therfore be able to jump around in the movie.

I wish people would NOT be allowed to post INCORRECT answers in this forum.
