sorry, gotta go with ds9,

kirk made me sick, what idiotic protocol would have the captain exposed all the time to danger.

Picard was cool, but not enough 2b #1

The Sisko?? well, who can not prefer the Sisko.

Janeway? well, took her @ least 3 seasons to come close to deserving the role.

and Bakula? well time will tell...

I must vote for a non trek Captain as true #1.......Sheridan.....

Picard was the only *real* captain IMO. He had the presense of a captain. Janeway prolly could have been a good cpatin too but she took too long to get into the role. Kirk was just silly and same with Archer. Sisko well . . . . what a wuss!

Pike was not too bad thugh - they should have kept him instead of Shatner.

normally iwould have gone for either picard or kirk..but the way janeway welded both maquis and federation crews as well as "sticking it" to the borg ..well you gotta admire her ..she gets my vote

Picard All the way!- he's the best V- sorry man- I loved Sisko too- but the bald head man gave and received respect from his crew. He wasn't afraid to act as a Captan in crisis- he was in charge - in bad and good times.

Picard is a theoretical genius, but he didnt "DO" every chick from every planet. Put Janeway, sisko and bakula in "RED SHIRTS" to accompany Kirk on a mission.

While reality dictates that no captain would be sent on every "away" mission - you gotta admit that Captain Kirk was a great role model. Who else shows the "HUMAN" spirit as well as Kirk. "If i cant breed it, kill it"

HOW would kirk have handled the BORG QUEEN :wink:
