VOB to avi

Postby scout on Wed Mar 08, 2006 9:11 pm

I'm running into a learning curve here and looking for advice.

Using DVD Decrypter gives me a nice folder of one .IFO and several .VOB files, which can be easily converted into an avi file, using AutoGK. Of course, I have to spend the time to determine the largest file from the DVD for the Decrypter program.

On BT, occasional files appear to be complete DVD rips, that are intended to be copied complete onto a single DVD, via Nero or another program. How does a person go about figuring out the supplied .BUP, .IFO, #.VOB files to create a single avi file with AutoGK, similar to the rip you'd make with DVD Decrypter??

Burn the dvd to disk

and if you want to encode it as an avi after that then just do as you would any dvd.
