vladd ok on hard drive not on cd though please reply

hi vladd im not sure u understand what im trying to tell u is these mpgs i have play fine on hard drive but i want them onto disc to free space on hard drive why im copying them to cd. but they crackle when i copy them over. ok when i copy my mp3 music files to cd they r perfect vladd so why not these mpgs why dont they come out fine like my mp3 files when i burn them over. please sort this out for me i just want it all going vladd thats all if i put them onto cd and i delete off hard drive ill loose good copys but i want them working 100% before i delete them from hard drive and put them onto cd without any crackles please vladd where am i going wrong im using nero version 5. and using cd rom is that right for mpegs i choose that feature close wizard drag drop tracks and burn them is that right only when i click write cd it only takes seconds so is this right. im using windows xp home edition i have broadband 150k.

well im not sure if u understand what im saying.

1. a cdrom is not the best device for playback.


I understand u r burning to cd to freespace, but for playback it is better to copy to hd and play, then delete again.

I do not suggest playback from a Cd, or even worse, DO NOT SHARE A CD, IT WILL SHORTEN THE LIFESPAN OF YOUR CDROM.

Use CD to store off HD, but playback is best on HD. your CDROM access rates are far inferior to HD access rates.

what he is trying to tell you is when you get ready to watch the mpg's is copy them off of your cd back to harddrive watch then delete. lol peace
