Video card problem

Hi, I'm having problems with my video card. Everytime I open up WMP, DivX or even open a PC game up my PC freezes as soon as I double click on the game. Does anone know why and has anyone experienced this problem before?

I'm no expert on hardware or OS problems, but I think that even those who are would find it difficult to help with so little to go on. There really isn't even a forum topic here that is specifically for those types of problems, if no one is able to help you here then I would go to the forum or support on the website of the video card model that you have and post the problem there - it might not even have anything to do with your video card, it's just that video files and games take up a lot more resources than most other processes, so it could be RAM or overheating issues, even a virus. But if you post back here or on any other forum, please give more specifics, as to what OS you're using, amount of RAM, cpu, video card, etc.
