X-vid movies

try this and i assue you have xvid codecs already installed

fix xvid codecs

-cant get movie to play?
-when you play it?
-get the green fudged screen and some sound?
-Is it xvid?
-can fix that easily.

-go to c/ program files / xvid
-open the prog called aviC
-Hit the ... and open the movie
-see what it says in both columns on the right. Should say XVID in both
-Change the bottom one to say DIVX, then hit apply, then hit Quit


- and then when you get to that point
- if both say xvid change the bottom one to say divx
- or if the bottom is already saying divx change it to xvid
- try the movie now and it should play

all the movies i download coded with x-vid, come out all distorted and green, is there any way to fix these or is it just a bust file?
this problem is really gettin annoying, this is the forth f**ked up copy of lotr2 that ive downloaded. grrrrr.
