Please can any one help! I'am running winmx v3.45 beta4 on a vista computer, I can download ok, but only one or two a day can upload. What can I do to change this as I keep getting blocked as they think iam running something. We have a netgear wi-fi router. I can follow step by step if it is just some settting, anything more and I might need my son but he says it been a long time since he's used winmx.
Thanks for reading

If it is as you say,
but only one or two a day can upload
then it may be only a matter of clicking "SETTINGS/Bandwidth Settings". Then "Limit incoming bandwidth - Limit outgoing bandwidth"

If it is as you say,
as I keep getting blocked as they think iam running something
, then maybe your son could simply check it to see what may be running in the background, unbeknown to you. There could be a need to run anti-spy ware, anti virus maybe.
Also, some internet service providers are real sluggish about uploads. They hate home server situations.
You can test your upload/download speed. I think bellsouth.net has a speed tester.
My own is faster down than up, but even a slow one should do more than one or two per day.

Alas, I can give no advise about the wi-fi system, hopefully you will get a better answer than mine.

Finally and maybe it should have been first,
