ubuntu, accidently wiped windows, need help

ubuntu, accidently wiped windows, need help

ok, so I installed ubuntu as a 2nd os, select the create partition option so I can still use XP (pro) but it wiped it instead, now I need to recover that partition and I have absolutely no idea how.

im guessing you dont have a system recovery cd?

What happened on the recovery attempt mentioned in the link?
