linux was much kinder on this then windows was or ever will be.
realtek dsps are notorious for emitting constant white noise in the 60hertz range that changes pitch every time a drive is accessed. to filter that out i bought a second audio card and added it to the realtek plus the one i pulled from a scrap pc. so i had the realtek an ARM dsp and a via chip. and thus it was perfect sound (well almost) then i decided i dont listen to music on the nix box ne more so why put up with the same noise on my winblows server. i plugged the cards in and uggg. only supports one driver at a time. and the same sound cant g through both dsps. any idea on how to utilize them both without connecting through the wave-table bus.
