Trojans

Postby adk66 on Sun Sep 27, 2009 9:50 pm

1. AVG detected and "moved to vault" Trojan horse Generic14.BIZZ found in Adobe CS4 Keygen.exe
does that mean that the keygen is now safe to use?

2. Any truth that AV programs consider Keygens all to be a virus??

Probably, but it won't likely work anymore.

Many AV programs do.. especially the "Free" ones. Theory is that's one of the ways they stay free.. paid by the software developers to report them that way to help cut down on piracy.
As you've posted in the BitTorrent Forum I assume you downloaded the Adobe CS4 from one of the BitTorrent trackers. Why not check the appropriate forum, they have Mods & Helpers constantly checking for Trojans, etc. 8)
