Tried Everything

Postby avantgarde73 on Wed Jun 21, 2006 3:37 pm

I recently downloaded and installed uTorrent, and i have the typical problem of low speeds.

I am on a wireless Internet connection. i also have a wired one that i could use if necessary, but the wireless one is actually faster.

Anyway, i have correctly (i believe) done all of the port forwarding necessary for the client to work, and I'm not getting any problems with the NAT. i ran uTorrents port forwarding test and it said that there was no problem.

I've limited upload speeds, turned off UPnP, limited the number of upload ports, and I'm still getting speeds from 5- 20Kbps. I also enabled protocol encryption in case my IP was throttling the speeds.

I googled and searched as much as I could but couldn't find a solution to my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
