tmpgenc plus problem

Postby Guest on Sun Feb 29, 2004 10:50 pm

When i try to play a mpeg that i made using tmpgenc plus all i get is the picture, but no audio. But when i encode a different file and play it, everything is fine. Is it just the file thats the problem and if so how can i fix it.

Thanks

You probably needed to decompress the audio first on that particular file, as for the time being TMpgenc will not accept vbr or ac3 audio.

Download AVI Audio decompresssor (you can get it in the Tools section of http://www.rita.LT) and decompress the audio of the avi using the decompressor before sticking it into TMPGEnc (real easy, just one click), and then use the pcm file it creates for either just the audio source in tmpgenc, or you can use the pcm file for both the video and audio source in tmpgenc.
