Everything you need to know about the bible...

First - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23). There is a penalty to be paid for sin....death...eternal torment.

Second - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Third - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23). Its a gift...a gift of eternal life.

Fourth - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13). If you hear the call of the Lord...come...rest in the assurance of salvation and forgiveness of your sins.
