i want to assign myself static ip to increase download speeds but unsure which connection to choose from . i have 3 options in network connections in windows. 1.1394 net adapter. 2. local area connection 2 bt voyager adsl router. 3. local area connection 3 nvidia nforce networking co.any help appreciated.
