no space left on device

Postby tj10 on Wed Jan 26, 2005 2:58 pm

any torrent over 4gb get message IO error (Err no28) no space left on device.
this leaves torrent 92% complete. There is masses of room on HD over 100GB :?: using torrentreactor, never a problem with suprnova

FAT32 has file size limits... try a smaller file

and you'll find that some torrent sites mostly contain rips directly from news servers so they have it split in to many little files, while others tend to have people who release it as one large file (which i personally prefer, why bother with the extra hassle?)

I am new to this but have been familiar with Bit. for a long time. I just downloaded one program and it literally filled my entire hard drive. The program was not even a huge program. Currently I am downloading a movie and am nervous there wont be any space. How do I correct this problem???

Any help asap would be greatly appreciated. thanks

download smaller things, if you download large programs then its going to need a large ammount of space to put it :-)
