Software for Mac OSX?

Postby sexycindi on Thu Jan 20, 2005 11:50 am

Now don't everybody laugh at once...

I have a hand-me-down laptop PC running Windows 2000 that my BF gave me and up to now it's been great for using WinMX. Now I want to rip my own stuff and share it. According to the Doom9 site its got just enough power to do it, but...

I have a Mac G5 that's far more powerful. Does ne1 know of a site like this one that aimed at Mac users?

No idea about Macs, but you can check this site, besides Doom9 which I would have suggested as well:

Thanks. I blew $30 on QuickTime Pro but apparently THAT won't do it. I also have a -- ahem! -- borrowed copy of Adobe Premiere and that -- if I'm reading the instructions right -- won't do it either. Either I'm like MEGA dumb or these companies are vague about what their software will or won't do.

No, I didn't post there -- but I DID post at the MacAddict magazine forums -- and got BITCHED AT by the forum moderator. But a nice guy suggested going (*Cindi brushes up her HTML*):

<html><A href="http://versiontracker.com/php/search.php?mode=basic&action=search&str=dvd+rip&plt%5B%5D=macosx&jumptoCat=0">HERE</A></html>

It's got the HandBrake software that guy mentions plus something called MacTheRipper (which was also rated high).

This is great. Maybe I can offer something on WinMX that's never been available before. (If I can figure the software out!!!)

Thank you dap OLD werewolf!!!!
