Site Update/Redesign, moving into the 21st century.

Anything new that needs adding.
Old, that needs removing.
Oudated, that needs correcting.

Any other suggestions, please feel free to post them.

I am in the middle of a total revamp....with a very small useable template from a very unlikely source :) :D

and KM, your mum said to bring her home a loaf of bread.......

Coaldust's 180th post from this tread:

this would make a useful help page!

I got two decent ideas for you V. How about adding a "building your own pc" or "pc hardware" section and maybe make a section for spyware, manual removal and discussion of running processes in the task manager?

Not sure if it would be legal, but it would be nice to name and shame ISP's involved in blocking/throttling p2p ports??

Also a revision of chat software, i'm usually up to date with all the latest addon's, chat servers, patches etc, but last few months theres been SO many released!

nothing illegal about having a list of ISP's with links to the "contact us" page on their website... you are giving them free advertising as well as assisting users to get in contact with their ISP should they wish to cancel their service :-D

isp? yes, been working on a list.

It seems that the problem in the US could be related to AT&T. Several of the isps with issues all use AT&T backbone.

And from what people are reporting, and their traffic logs, its more of a dropping than blocking.

It seems they ID the program based on the DATA field of the TCP packet, Not the packet header , because uploads are dropped even while running over non-standard ports.
