The topic says it all. I'm using a program called SDVDRIP190.exe (Super DVD Ripper 1.90). And quite frankly it's terrible. It rips at an agonizingly slow speed, and when you play back what you have ripped on your PC, it tends to skip repeatedly for the first 5 minutes of the movie. Any links to information on something better would be appreciated. \m/ >< \m/

I dont have any trouble ripping a dvd to my hardrive, where i struggle is turning all the fles into 1 .avi.
I have read your tutorial, and Autogk "seems" easy enough, but for 1 dvd i have a folder with a load of .ifo, .BUP & Vob files, how do i know which ones to convert and which not too? i was kinda hoping AutoGk would be a little more AUTO and just deal with the whole folder and spit me out a nice neat .avi, things are never that simple, gimmie and mp3 anyday, i had dvd's
Help!
Lol
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?
If you read the tutorial for AutoGK on the site you would see that it IS that easy - an ifo file tells the encoder which vobs to take, so if you load the right ifo file (for instance the main movie and not any extras on there) it will take all the vobs associated with it.
As i suspected Dap, not as easy as it looks, i picked one of the larger ifo's and it did convert it to .avi which was good, took about 40 mins and i ended up with a 12min clip of the DVD with no sound, even though AutoGK seemed to pick up an associated sound track. I tried same process with another of the ifo's and same result, all i want is the whole DVD into 1 .avi is there not a simple way do do this with sound without messing about? I just want simple idiots method, damn i hate video, gimmie an mp3 anyday...............
Thanks in advance for your help.
