Rome Total war torrent help

Postby J on Mon Sep 27, 2004 1:47 pm

I dl the torrent for Rome total war and I got a folder with 3 cds in it. Each cd folder had a bunch or winrar files and some other files that werent winrar. when i looked into the winrar file it had a cue/bin file in each winrar file for each cd folder. How do i make them into 1 cue/bin file. or how do i make the game install.

Also if i wanna burn a cue/bin file on cd what do i burn the cue or the bin.

if you extract from one of the rar files in each cd group, they will create 3 large bin cue files, not smaller individual ones.

When files are distributed by other means, such as newsgroups, it isnt uncommon for them to use winrar to split the file into smaller pieces. It was just packaged as is, Personally I prefer to better organize it before seeding it for bt. But hey, as long as it works.

Try doing a desktop instal of it, by putting in all the cd's in to one folder on your desk top (just click yes to replace files as they are the same) and then install it from the folder......i had the same problem and that solved it :D
