ripping mpeg file from a svcd

i have a svcd and want to rip the mpeg file off it to copy onto a dvd. does anyone know how to do this or what app. i will need? thanks.

I don't really know if I understand your question fully... An svcd as is (even after extracting the mpeg) will not play on a standalone dvd player if simply burned, as you cannot burn it as a super video cd to dvd, that is for cd. If you want it to play on a regular stand-alone dvd you must convert it to dvd format first and author it. If you have an mpeg4 player (avi, divx, xvid compatible) you can simply burn the mpeg to dvd as data and it should play on most mpeg4 standalones.
