Rar file

Ok, Ive downloaded a file which came in 2 cd's, both full of rar files. I have extracted with winrar into a separate folder whihc has worked, and now there are 2 files - both 'video clip files" that play with win media player. However when i go to view them it says it is loading codec, and there is an error and all i get is sound. and i also cannot burn them to cd/dvd. Any idea what to do here?

U tried playing them with VLC here? : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ VLC won't need bothering with codecs.

You need to install codecs, or use VLC player like Love suggested.

If you want to install codecs get gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

open the file in it, then you will know what codec you need. google the codec.

cheers - sorted that part out - now trying to convert vob files etc to be able to play on a dvd player wither nero 6.6
