questions on bit tornado

Postby Grinch on Wed Jan 04, 2006 12:43 pm

1] after running the installer, it left a file library.zip in the run folder. there were no instructions. not even a readme file. and I haven't yet found any page on how to install and run bit tornado.

is the library.zip file to be unzipped somewhere?

2] can bit tornado handle more than 1 file at a time? I don't see any menu for starting additional files. I like to let several done files run to reseed.

3] for reseeding.. does a file have to be left in the default dl folder? after downloading i like to move my files into my sorted folder tree. how can tornado find them to use them for reseeding?

each time you open a new torrent it will open a new instance of bittornado.

the file will need to be in a default location for them to see.

You can move it to another location. However, you must not change the integrity of downloaded stuff (like content of the folder), in order to keep it`s hash. After you moved it, just start a torrent and point BitTornado to a new location of files (it asks you where you want to save files every time). It will redo hash-check and start seeding.
