Problems just getting PIE Auto Updater to start fully...

I have a Vista system. This is the first time I have run into problems with this OS, so it isn't that bad.

Anyways, when I install Pie Auto Updater it gives me this error:

Exception Occured
StartService: This driver has been blocked from loading.

I'm not sure how to fix it. Any ideas?

The problem stems from Vista's need to open hosts file with admin privileges.

A manual way to get the hosts file to work is:

1) Browse to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
2) Right click "Notepad" and select "Run as administrator"
3) Click "Continue" on the UAC prompt
4) Click File -> Open
5) Browse to "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc"
6) Change the file filter drop down box from "Text Documents (*.txt)" to "All Files (*.*)"
7) Select "hosts" and click "Open"
Go to http://blocktards.com/updates/hosts
9) Copy the contents of the page.
10) paste it into the notepad where you have the hosts file open.
11) Save and exit.
