Not really a vid problem...

This isnt really a video problem, but I think you might be able to help me.
I've downloaded Doom3 from WinMX, its split into its 3 disks, and in "ISO Image File" format. When I go to install it, an error message saying, cannot find "RNENU.msi" etc. Any ideas on how to sort this??

Have you burned the ISO's or mounted them on a virtual drive? You don't give much information as to how you are installing it.

I have done nothing with the files. I downloaded them allready in ISO format. I try to install them by just double clicking on the "disk1" file as that is what I have done with other games I downloaded. Do I need to burn them to disk? I don't see how that would work, I would have thought that would just move the files from my hard drive to disk and still have the same problem. And I dont even know what a virtual drive is. Sorry if I'm kind of vague but I thought it would be a case of getting a program and it would be sorted. Obviously not. Please help, the game looks brill.

I have made some progress.
Instead of being a bit ignorant and lazy, I've viewed some other postings, to find a solution. I've downloaded Alcahol 120%, mounted the game on a virtual drive and got the installation running, but it asks me to enter an id code to install the game.. how do I get round this??

look in image files, there is often a text file with the serial in it.

or u will need to go to a serial site and get one, but usually there is one in the package, look around.

Are you sure it burned correctly? Try burning that ISO again, and using the new disc.

Write down the label of the disc it wants to receive, then label your new disc with that label when you go to burn it.
