well if it's showing a memory error perhaps you lack RAM. You give me very little to go on, for instance saying "some memory error" instead of writing exactly what the error says. What are the specs of your computer? OS? cpu? RAM?

I explain it in detail
if I try to play that avi file with jet audio or any other player its playing fine. mean I have to open that file through jet audio. I can't drag and drop that file on media player.
If I try to click on that file and play or by double click to play it play and throw error and close the folder. error show " instruction at reference memory could not written properly.
I hv winxp with 1gb ram and 40 gb hdd..around 15gb free space on disk.

Media player probably doesn't recognize the codec used, so the solution is to simply use a player that can play it.
