The all new Winmx community patch is now available, thanks to Eagle and all other users involved in making this patch available to the community. If you are using MXPie auto updater or any of the inferior pie patch 3.6 or older, please urgently upgrade and help protect and grow the network:

The patch source was made available to interested parties, i found it very easily myself, but then, one would ask the question why KM with his very own super patch (not!) would need any other patch than his own?
You think KM having finally left WinMX would stay gone, but he just cant help but stop by and do his best to stir up trouble, only this time all parties are aware of some of his more dubios actions, so you are wasting your time in all camps KM, unitied we stand.

I'm confused. I have 3.53 and even used it today before I heard about this new patch. I downloaded the patch from here. It says, "WinMX353.exe" just like my old file. Am I just supposed to install it right over my previous 3.53 version? If so, will it hold all my settings or am I going to have to do everything from scratch again?
I am also using the Pie Auto Updater which shows two icons in the Taskbar (Pie Auto Updater and Peer Guardian Lite). Those two stay the way they are? If so, do I exit out of those two before I install?
I have replied to this in the other thread already
