I am new to winmx. I would like to download nero software free so I can make a cd into a dvd format to watch. How do i get winmx to download software? I see a spot for audio and video and pictures. Is there a way to make winmx download software of any kind? Thanks for your help.

software downloading - select archive as the format (zip rar iso etc)

or select "any file bitrate"

one advise - get a damn good virus checker and use it before you open any software you d/l over the p2p.

Thanks for the advice. I am a little confuse on what you meant. When you go for a search, are you saying that where it says artist/title, is that where you put in the words Archive in order to find software sharing?? So far I have only been able to find music and movies. I have mcafee anti virus will that stop me from picking up viruses? As you can see I am new at this?

You're usually pretty safe downloading music, but if you're going to download software, like pup said, get a good virus checker. I know several people who've d/l exe or zip files and got viruses. You'll cut down the possibility if you download from some of the winMX "regulars" if you get to know them (e.g. in chat room) and ask them if they have used them.
