Need help with .00X files

Postby nofx on Mon May 31, 2004 6:58 pm

Hi,

I downloaded a game off of Bit Torrent the other day. It downloaded into 3 folders called CD1, CD2 and CD3. The files are named rzr-tdsa.001 up to 052 in CD1,rzr-tdsb.001 up to 053 in CD2, and rzr-tdsc.001 up to 042 in CD3. Each folder also has a .sfv file.

I'm only familiar with .iso and bin/cue files and using ISObuster with those.
The only image file I recognize is an .nfo file in the folder CD3.
Are the rest image files or do I have to convert them to one?

Someone recommended MASTERSPLITTER for the .00X files but not sure if I'm using it correctly. Do you join the .00X files together into one? Then after that what do you use to open it or to burn it to cd?

Thx for any help.

use winrar - get it here http://www.rarlab.com/

The files are compressed and then split into manageable pieces for posting to usenet groups. WinRAR will rejoin them by clicking on anyone. Then you extract the contents. Usually will end up with the bin/iso burnable filetypes.
work sucks :pee off
