kay, you've used both words out of context, therefore by repeating this subject over and over, not only have you degraded it to spam level, but you're spreading viscious lies also, due to Vladd still owning mxpie.com, and that he was aware of mxpie.INFO before gem and jim were kicked out of pie...hell, everyone was, including you.

by all means, drop this subject, let Vladd himself speak on it, if he so chooses to. until then, no one wants to hear it anymore.

Who do you consider to be the old team? From what I can see, there seems to be about an equal amount in either group at the present.
For the record, all the pages on the site are being redone. There was no intention of going public with its existance until this occurred, however information was released before it was ready. If the options are an unfinished site or no site for users, well the obvious choice is to put the unfinished site online. The goal is to get people connected, and a dedicated WinMX connection sites are the best way to do this.

There are multiple pay-for-WinMX sites out there. When people do a search for WinMX, now at an additional free site will appear.
Is this a bad thing?

The most important thing that was said and with the addition that there needs to be some form of blocking happening to even keep MX a viable resource for downloading and protection from Macrovision and other agencies that intend to do this network harm.

Actually, no I don't. Which is why I asked what you what you considered to be the old team.
Personally I feel this is bigger than any one person. I won't refer to one group as "Vladd's team" and I'm wondering why you refer to the other as "my team."
How the PIE team was originally set up, no single person had the role of being sole leader. No single person had the ability to add or exclude members.
If you'd prefer to respond to my question about what you consider to be the old team in private, please do so. However one wya or the other I would like to understand this better.
I checked last night with my friend who is redoing the German translation, and she says she's about half done. Yes, what's up is the page as you did it. As I stated before, the existance of mxpie.info was made public knowledge before we would have liked. Not everything is how would like it to be.
I hope it's some consolation to you to know that the work you did on that page is helping peple to get connected to WinMX.
Isn't that why we all put our time into this?

the german page was finnished. i translated all what i got from vladd and gem and perth and testy checked it and it was ok. the big german forum "dachboden-wg" copied the german page and put it on their site, with my and vladds permission. if the page wouldn´t be finnished, i don´t think that they would have asked me to get it. but i dunno what happened with the german page after i quit the team, i never cared because all were done and i wasn´t wanted in the team anyway because i was "km´s spy" for some members.

the old team were the people which started in the sourcecode and moved to the room which hollow were hosting.

tell me a good programmer which made something for pie, besides the one who left like hollow, pip, aston, april, sabre, ranma and yes...km also.... (he was there at the beginning)

and it still stands for me and many others that i (we) think that pie patch wouldn´t be so popular without vladds name, site and his help.

you can do a good work but if you don´t have a popular forum (vladd44.com) or a trusted name (vladd) nobody will ever get or want it. i would be very careful if i would download a patch or a programm from someone which i don´t know and if that guy would tell me to change something in my windows (without any knowledge of windows by the user) then i would say f...off.

i didn´t say now that the winmx useres have not knowledge of windows , some have some not ..without beeing stupid....don´t understand me wrong now.

Sorry, I think language is causing a little confusion between us, Sable.
I did not mean that the page that you translated was not complete.
However all the pages at mwpie.info are being redone in order to avoid exactly what happened here- seeing people who did the work getting upset.
Information about the existance of mxpie.info became public knowledge BEFORE it was ready. That information was not released by anyong working on that site.
For the first few days, all IPs were blocked fromt he site except for people working on it. That decision was reconsidered because the people being blocked were coming to the site to get connected to WinMX- blocking them from doing that is not anyone's goal.
So now the site is accessable, before all the pages were redone- but people are using it to get reconnected to WinMX.
