Movie that can play and be burnt, yet cannot play after burn

Postby Love on Wed Mar 08, 2006 6:47 am

I have some movies. They r Jap-subtitled English movies. I believe the sources r from Japanese users as I can download them very fast thru multiple users on winmx. Since they r of dvd quality rips of almost cinema quality, they r in great demand.

The deal is this : I can play them after download. I can burn them too. Successful complete burns. Yet after the burn, I can't play them. The DVD ROM drive does not sense them at all. It is like no CD is ever in the drive. I have tried with different brands of CDs yet they all end up the same. Burnt but can't sense in my drive. So no playback possible after the burn... yet the downloaded version can be seen perfectly with no problem.

Another puzzling occurence is when the movie can be played and burnt completely. Then when I play the burnt CD ... I get an error that says : Disc is dirty or damaged, cannot play movie. Yet I am using brand new CDs.

So my question is : Is there something on a certain movie that is copyproof that prevents playback after burning?

To give u an idea of these movies I copied a few titles here :
y—m‰æz 2005 - ƒ_[ƒNEƒEƒH[ƒ^[ Dark Waters (2005.7ŒŽ8“ú@‘S•ÄŒöŠJjŽå‰‰ ƒWƒFƒjƒtƒ@[EƒRƒlƒŠ[ (Žš–‹).avi

y‰f‰æzyŠØ‘z 2000 ƒTƒvƒ‰ƒCƒY -Surprise.avi

yŠØ‘z 2004.12.11 –l‚ÌÞ—‚ð‰î‚µ‚Ü‚• -Windstruck-2004ŠØ.avi

y‰f‰æz ƒRƒ“ƒXƒ^ƒ“ƒeƒBƒ“ - CONSTANTINE - 1CD Žå‰‰ƒLƒAƒkEƒŠ[ƒƒX (“ú–{ŒêŽš–‹ by ƒAƒiƒ‹’jŽ) [1h54m03s 576x272 XviD+MP3].avi

Hope somebody can provide an answer to this :) Sorry if my problem is so complicated :)

Have you renamed the files? The problem may be with the foreign characters.
