Without a doubt, this forum has gone downhill, backslidden, and desolate after Love left...this den of iniquity just ain't the same.

You think this forum needs her yahoo news spam? And the addition of 100 new smileys a day?

Mando, I don't see you doing your part to start any new threads and trying to get some good discussions going. So maybe the problem isn't her leaving...maybe it's you sitting on your ass.

I would start some more new threads myself, but some here have a problem with that so I need to pace myself and not start too many, lest I end up with the nickname of Love2.

Don't blame Love for those. I was getting them from a site that allows a free trial period then requires a "Subscription Account" (as in "Payed Account") so was in a hurry to get all I could before the trial period expired. Have finished with them for now so the rush is over.
After waiting to see which ones are used/wanted we will go through the whole lot (2,224) and delete the usless & the repeats.

I would have to say my relative inactivity in the forum has been a major factor on slowdown this month. Other responsibilities and requirements have taken considerable time.

Actually nineteen people were killed during the the Salem Witch Trials, which occurred between May and October of 1692.

Whether someone believes the Bible or thinks it is a myth, misinterpretation negates their credibility. This is the case with you.

If I were to say that "The Wizard of Oz" was about the French Revolution, anything I said based on that fallacy would be negated by the flaw in the foundation of my statements.

This is why Vladd is more credible in his assertions than you are. I disagree with his conclusions. However, he bases them on accurate knowledge of the Bible, even though he says the Bible is a fairy tale like the Wizard of Oz.

As for your response to Sable's 'witch hunt' post, you are taking her words too literally. Extend it to the other deaths claiming Christian justification. How many people were killed in the crusades? And that attitude should not be confused with a command to answer any and every manipulative question that is asked on controversial issues. There may be other quotes you can give to support that latter proposition but Peter only talks about answering for the 'hope that is within you.'

Your entire argument is founded upon the question being manipulative. That is subjective. However it is not the intent. The intent is to derive a credible answer from a self-proclaimed Christian who is neither gentle nor respectful in any post I have seen.

Direct me to a post that is accurate, gentle, respectful, and gives a credible answer for the 'hope within' Mando & I will stand corrected.

I ask Mando these questions because he is a disgrace to Christianity. When did Peter or Jesus abuse unbelievers? Jesus led by example and did not hesitate to answer questions even when they were intended to manipulate him. Example: when he was asked about being the son of God by those who sought to have him killed.

If Mando had truth on his side, he wouldn't back away from the questions. I fail to see how you do any service to Christianity by being an apologist for him. His claims are self-serving and not based upon the Bible. His claims are a distortion of Christ's teachings. An atheist serves God better than Mando since an atheist's actions & word do not mire God's name.

I'll continue to ask him to justify his claims for the same reason Knot4Prophet contradicts my posts when I am mistaken: the value of truth.

Totally irrelevant, but when did Knot get an office? Was that part of the exalted admin deal? He does have a forum & Mando is the most recent registrant for Knot's forum. Mando seems a little confused about who is pursuing Knot.
