Loosing connextion

WinMX 3.53 and 3.31 is working fine, but after an hour i'm loosing connextion and my down- and uploads. It connects again after a little while.
Its the same problem every time. I simply dont know what to do.
I'm using a new harddisk, but I have the program on a extern harddisk and have been using it here for a very long time without problems.

I hope someone can help me :-).

Could be a number of things, almost certainly nothing to do with Winmx itself though, out of interest, whats your ISP?
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?
