What I meant is this: I use graphedit, I follow all the steps written down by toejam.. Everything is going fine.. until it's time to press play in graphedit.. The moment I do this.. I get that pop-up from vodei telling me to register (since it's trying to play the video-file). I know I should be pressing 'later' at this point but my vodei is timed out so I can't proceed and all I get is a 64KB file which I then delete since it's worthless.

The way i see it, graphedit uses vodei mp to read infected files. Then converts the file to its own avi file that is no longer infected. So once "translated" you can view the file using any other media player anytime. But when the vodei times out, graphedit looses its "translator" so it can no longer write its own file. Maybe the solution is to find a crack for vodei mp so that it wont time out. (I had an infected vodei mp avi file. burned it to a cd and tried playing it in my dvd player and got nothing. When i used toe jams advice, i got a clean avi output, burned it to another cd, and when i played it in my dvd player, it played. it works. consider that the dvd player does not have vodei mp installed in it)
