OK I know this is a stupid question, but I wanted to ask before I waste more discs doing it incorrectly. I can use either a DVD, or CD whichever is easier. I have tried burning it to a CD, but I know I did it wrong, and it should have been SVCD or something. Anyway it didn't work. The file is from wimmx it's a mpg file, would also like to learn how to burn SVCD files onto a DVD or CD. I have record now, or windows media player. THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS. Sorry this is so LAME I am new to this. Normally I only burn my home movies. THANKS AGAIN!
nero has an easy to use wizard thingie, you just answer a load of questions, give it the file, then take the resulting disk(s) downstairs and shove them in the DVD player...
www.nero.com btw... the "trial" is the full version, just limited to 30 days without a serial number... which of course you have to "pay" to get (or obtain it through other means...)
http://www.vso-software.fr/ For a DivX 2 DVD software ... it's idiot proof ( in other words no settings to tune)
open your AVI and say where you wanna save the output files , then burn the output folder with Nero.
I think it's about the first time that I've made a dvd format and tried to burn it with nero and nero hasn't bitched about it being non compliant DVD format.
