Love, since your so good at (not) reading maybe you should take your time and read what bincoder has said here.

It's not the dll patch, since I tried that once years ago, and was not impressed by its extremely laggy performance, i've been doing it the hosts way only. WinMX also would have those little bugs before there even was a patch, back when frontcode was still online. So it isn't the patches. Not leftover patches either, I already know what files belong where, how to change from one patch to another, or even create my own (scary) setup, which I wouldn't call a patch.

He states that he has had this problem since BEFORE patches where needed.

So... If its a patch problem why did it happen before the first patch was made? o.0

bincoder said he had it SOMETIMES like Sable did, what makes u think bincoder had the same problem as I defined?

I merely offered a solution that helped 30 ppl with the problem of queue dropping. Of that 30 they all used wmw patch. The 29th person converted to MXPIE 3.6 (still using the same winmx he had with the wmw patch in it) and I have to use my method to remove it too and solved his problem.

Notice in my solution a total reinstall of winmx is needed ... and an unbundled winmx from Vladd44 site is installed. Along with the pie auto updater ofc as the user can't go patchless. Maybe the pie auto updater patch isn't the solution and the reinstallation is but fact is 30 ppl who dropped queues all the time when they were on wmw patch did stop dropping queues after using my method.

To answer yr ? : The problem could be in their corrupted winmx. Or a winmx corrupted by KM's wmw patch?
Do u even know what is in KM's patch yet? Some have not even cracked the keyblocks in his wmw patch so what makes u think he didn't put anything extra in the wmw patch to make it screwy? Can u verify that?

As long as there is a solution to this problem who cares what u guys believe. Each to his own opinion. This is said so ppl having this problem at least have a solution.

Unless u can come up with a solution to this queue dropping problem .... then that is a real contribution If not, yr comments r just yr comments. Doesn't help any of those winmx users with this problem.

Notice this queue dropping problem ISN'T simply a lack of bandwidth cos it happens EVERYTIME these ppl browse anyone. And it drops ALL their queues. If u can browse ppl at any time and all yr queues do not drop... u r NOT having this problem I have defined.

The keyblocks your talking about. I assume you mean the mangle routine. If someone can't find that in the his dll they shouldn't even be looking.
It's as easy as pie to find it, even easier to put in a "C/C Plus Plus" program.

If he/she can't find it on their own they really shouldn't even bother looking. I will NOT release the code to anyone unless KM allows me to. The WmW users would not have the protection against the cartel offered by it if I were to release it.

I tried one time to connect via proxy (randomized to come from some ip somewhere in the world except this one every 10 minutes) by both winmx and robo. That did work, sorta. It would connect and enter a room as it should, but the delay caused by bouncing around the earth would make either drop out after a few seconds. That and the nightmare called 'cable' I used to have (would drop everything for a fraction of a second, making my que go from lets say 2 to 100 2x a day wo dropping the transfers themselves, they did recover) makes me think delay == bad. Something in winmx is set to timeout too soon. (wherever in winmx.exe that could be) peek and poke? lol

btw, to really test a video or mp3, burn it on a dvd or other device so you can try to play it on some piece of consumer equipment rather than the pc. Stuff made to play files does so much, much faster than a pc can and what appears to stutter or lag on a pc prolly will work fine on something else.

But understand why I mentioned u_n_i_q_u_e now? Cos u_n_i_q_u_e is trying to make a patch to help winmx users.

Yes i remember who u_n_i_q_u_e is, and as i recall you deleted their "spam" because it wasn't vladds patch.

Anyhow I'm getting tried of repeating my self, its not hard to find it. ANYONE with basic ASM knowledge and knowledge of the winmx protocol should be able to find it very easily.

If they can't then they should have started looking in the first place.

I didn't delete u_n_i_q_u_e's post. (Nobby did ) I removed their link (it was spam anyway u look at it) and I was cautious that u_n_i_q_u_e was from either wmw or mxpie camp. Already Nobby has locked another spamming thread by wmw camp spamming their site on here already.

And in case u_n_i_q_u_e really wanted to help winmx users... I pmmed him to pm Nobby. But I think u_n_i_q_u_e's gone MIA after getting V's email. Hope he surfaces soon.

you called him a spammer and deleted the url...not nobby. you told unique that we won´t support any other patch besides vladd...not nobby

you told someone also that we don´t support other things like metis....

metis is made for winmx and this is a winmx forum..isn´t it ? did i miss something ??

if people can´t get help in here with new patches, metis and other winmx stuff then why do we have this forum ? i remember that it was always a winmx help forum but i feel that it becomes more and more a linda and christian forum. maybe we can rename it in linda´s bible forum ??
