Help room help anyone?

Firstly, I am running WinMX 3.53 on Windows XP and I connect to the internet through another computer using a router (no idea what kind, sorry).

Now. I installed WinMX today for the first time since the shutdown. I had no idea it was still alive! Anyway, I saw this Pie Auto Updater thingy and obviously downloaded and installed that too, figuring it was needed in order for me to connect. After I'd been through the connection settings in WinMX a couple hundred times and waiting ridiculous lengths of time (in vain) for it to connect, I started looking for more help online (because I have a habit of overlooking the simplest of things resulting in me looking like an idiot when said simple thing is pointed out to me.) Which is when I came across this forum.

I followed these instructions, as the bar on the left of the Ignored button was blank. Sure enough, when I'd completed them, it showed "Click for web help, Live help at Vladd44 Help Room, etc", and I got excited. Until it still refused to connect, and when I follow these instructions on how to get into the Help Room, nothing happens. No chat room appears, it just stays on where the room list would usually be if I could actually CONNECT.

hey guys

My winmx is connected, but i can't search or even get any channels in the chat. i downloaded the latest community patch, and can't even get into the help room.
Help anyone please, i love my winmx, but can't get in

Update - helped Phil to the community help room, where his router issue was resolved, all is now well.
