Halo gathering exception data

Now everytime I have tried to play halo this ahs never happened.Now it happens all the time.Everytime I play haloPC even campaign I recive the gathering exception data. Now I dont no if this has anything to do wtih it but Ive been getting Automatic Update error everytime I restart my comp can some body help me.......

Seems you have some corrupt drivers or incorrectly loaded updates. You will have to be more specific about which automatic update is failing.

I get the same box when ever I try to run Team Speak & Halo at the same time... Any clues?

every time i play halo, it minimizes and sez 'gathering exeption data' i cant play for more than about 2 minutes without this happening and its really annoing
any ideas?????

i'm having same problem as other when i try to play halo it comes up with a window saying "gathering exeption data" and trys to send an error report. my computer i well above the min requiements but i still can not even get it to start. i did try to put it in 98 compatiblity as it was said to of run better that may help some other people but if any one can help me please do....

people just download the newst patch from the game web site. the newest patch is 1.07 that will sort ur problem

That would be the best solution in my opinion.

But you can also try this: run Halo in compatability mode for windows 98nicolaz. It works for me.

I would also recommend updating your vid drivers to the newest drivers and Direct X should be updated to Direct X 9.0c April 2006 End User Runtime I believe. Go to the games' homepage and download the most recent patches also if at all possible. I f none of that works I suggest you do a basic search for "known issues" with that particular version of Halo.
