Game question

Hay all just started useing this and have no clew what I am doing wrong. I down loaded Doom 3 and I got 4 files. I took files marked disk 1 -3 and put them unpacked them into a new temp file. Then burnt a CD from the file disk 1 file. The file listed is huge and is a .BIN but I cant open it. Any ideas on how to do it? I coppied file useing Nero if it helps. Thanks for any input.

Mount the .bin image with DAEMON Tools. Then you don't have to waste a blank CD on the game.

For those of you who don't know, DAEMON tools is a virtual CD drive.

First off thanks for the help all.......
OK I downloaded Daemon and figured out the burning to cd so thanks so much for the 411...sorry a total nubb at this..
Now I have the game loaded but it is asking me to insert disc 1. Offcource I dont have it so I have tried to use the Daemon and also tried to burn the .cue file and load it but the game keeps asking for disk 1.. hmm I am sure its something so easy but I havent a clew what it is.. any more info and I would be most happy.

You will need a NOcd crack, look on the burned cd, often they will package the nocd crack on the cd with the program.

Ok think I am almost there with your help, thanks Vladd.
Found a text file of instructions that said I should go to disck 1 and copy over the /cracked file in the dir. Great! Now what does this meen LOL...
I see no file listed as /crack... maybe I should start smoking some. this is driving me nuts

OK think I am almost there.
If I open the newly burnt cd I find a file crack... in it is a file with the game .gif. I gather this is the item I am looking for. Now what do i do with it? I am so close to figureing this out. Thanks again for helping me threw this.

Take the file(s) in the folder called "crack" and copy and paste them to the folder where you installed doom. If you've put them in the right place you should get a warning asking you if you are sure you want to replace the other files. Say yes and you should now be able to play without cd.

Skater00, ok.....i'm having a problem...i downloaded tiger woods 2005 and i have the daemon thing....i open it and mount the files....

the instructions keep saying that i will find the crack in the cd3...but I can't find that file???? I'm new at this...any ideas
