N 1.4

windows

Climb walls, steal gold, flip switches, and make your escape from a wide variety of deadly enemies in this fantastic and free 2D platformer. The addition of 200 new levels and new unlockable secrets help maintain a top rating for this ninja adventure. Gameplay at higher levels can be tricky, and some might find it slightly repetitive, but one of the main attractions of this game is its difficulty. If you’re an obsessive-compulsive type looking for a great way to kill numerous hours with mindless ninja maneuvering, look no further—N is one of the best freeware games you’ll find anywhere. FREE! :cheer3

:snoopy: DX-Ball is a FREE arcade game by Michael P. Welch. It is one of the best Breakout-style games. The object of the game is to bounce your ball around the screen with your paddle, breaking bricks, collecting points and power-ups as you go. Once all the bricks are destroyed, you move to the next level. If you drop the ball, you lose a life. The game has 50 different levels, lots of power-ups and in-game music. Snoopy

Drempels Screensaver

windows

Drempels makes colorful, swirling, hallucinogenic patterns that resemble a hurricane or tornado. It normally runs in your Windows background or desktop, replacing your old still-image wallpaper with beautiful animated visuals. Meanwhile, you can use your computer just like you normally would. It uses very little CPU overhead—so little that it even runs smoothly on a 233MHz system. Drempels can also be used as a screensaver; in this mode, it goes full-screen (like a normal screensaver) instead of rendering to the desktop/background. FREE! :tornado
