As soon as Sabre is ready with the peer cache and his new copy of SabMX, i will let everyone here know. I have asked him already if i can put it on the tsc site when the time comes and he has agreed to it. You most likely will be able to get a copy here on vladd's site too.

And when all this happens, it will either be temporary till winmx is back or could be permanent if it never comes back...i can't say for sure.

Personally i hope that frontcode is just busy moving stuff to the south pacific where they will be out of the reach of the riaa and this is just a temporary server problem till they get things all set up there.

will this work the same way as winmx did???

will we need to change all our folders for hosting chat rooms and will we be able to browese people and share files as we did on winmx??

soory for being pushy just have over 200 friends on winmx and it wud be awesome if sabmx is going to run along same lines as winmx

sabmx = winmx..altered and improved

it is not an entirely new program like some of you think

this is the same winmx.exe file you have been using for the longest time, only the room list bug was fixed so km's patch was not needed, and he will be changing the peer cache info to point to another peer cache server.

all the incompletes you have now will be still good, and you won't know the difference between it and the original winmx except that it will say "sabmx" on the titlebar. It will even use all the configuration files from your winmx folder. Sharing files will be the same too.

it's just a fixed winmx.exe file, nothing more.

and i will do anything within my power to help out

i have had a great time on winmx over the past 3 years and will do whatever it takes to keep it (or a prog like it)

and as for room wars on mx lmao they dont count now i welcome all and will help anyone to get new sabmx no matter what room ur from
