Hello, all, I have had WINMX up and running again almost from the get go, with the 2.6 pie patch, however started yesterday having severe problems with my outgoing bandwidth allotment, I called my cable company and even bumped myself up to the highest program they have, still have problem, they have even checked on there end by phone, changed my I.P address, and pinged me from their end as well, could it be the system, please any suggestions would help, as i do want to share with others, incoming bandwidth seems to be fine. Could it be a setting, i am missing? I have been on winmx for 4-5 years now. Never had this problem, thanks

Some people just like to miss the obvious.
One of my friends used to own a restaurant. After years of having customers ask where the plates were for the salad bar (they were on the right side, in plain sight) she had a neon sign saying "PLATES" with an arrow pointing down on it made and installed it above the plates.
People would still ask where the plates were.

i tried that Vladd44 cite and i still cant get the winmx to work , when i pull up the winmx the yellow prompt keeps flashing, meaning its tring to find the network , can some body tell how can i get it back, and also someone had downloaded it 4 me 4 free , so i take it that its not free any more ? pleez help. Lollie

I lost my computer a couple of weeks ago and I just got it back online today I went do re download WinMX to find the site down. Can someone piont me in the right direction so that I can reload the software and get it to work again please!!!!

I just re down loaded WinMX 3.53. It keeps saying WinMX was unable to make a outgoing TCP conection to it's test servers. This could be because this computer is not connectred to the internet, you are on a local area network [LAN] and need to run SOCKS proxy sever to make outgoing TCP connections, or there is a tempory network problem.
Than it gives me the option to Retry conection test or I need to use SOCKS proxy to make out going conections.

Please i need your help I am no computer wiz kid but i have been using WinMX for a long time now and really miss it. Can somebody walk me through what to do here.

Do I down load the pie patch then reinstall WinMX I lost my computer and just redownloaded it but I get to this point mentioned above and that is as far as I can get.
