Fixing a paritial dload bittorrent video files

i tried divfix , but it says its not an avi file
and windows media player says its corrupt
but the file type is avi

how can i fix this file?

You said in the topic that it is a "partially" downloaded bittorrent file. A partially downloaded file from bittorrent will not play until it is complete. It's not necessarily corrupt. The files downloads in bits and pieces and not in order.
