Finding User Names

I was downloading from a user when my computer froze up. When I came back, my dowloads were all red. Most of them appeared under my shared files section in red while some where in my transfer section in red. I wrote down the user name who was allowing me to transfer these files. How do I recontact the user. I tried entering find sources now but it didn't come up. I know he is still online but may be running private. Can I enter his user name to send him a message if he doesn't appear on my up or downloads? How to I "requeue" files in my shared files section. Is TOFU really good for you? Thanks

TOFU is a wonderfull product. so flavorless and versatile. it goes well with everything. Curdled soy milk is a great alternative to meat. TOFU will lower your bad cholesterol, prevent heat flashes during menopause, and FLAT OUT GARUNTEE a trip to McDonalds with the kids while MOM eats it. I highly recommend women give their husbands a brake like that at least weekly.

it can be relativly difficult to find a user inside winmx.

i suggest you make sure all your partial downloads are set to search every 10 minutes and enter a queue 100 deep. (AEQ, AFS). Eventually the files should find users to complete with.

Also you can try to search for alternate and see what comes up, as SOMETIMES they will appear in the search results. But you may need to do this several times before the person is found.

In the future, when you trade, or get a good person uploading to you i suggest you let them know to "MEET" you in a chat room should you become disconnected. That is a sure fire way to find someone.

As you may already know - there is no permanant hotlist for names, and sometimes after several hours, you cant even contact people who are on your temporary hotlist.

Anyway - good luck seeking. Hopefully you wont wait 4 months like i have for a completion of "South Pacafic".
